5 CliF Lab Presentations at IUP Psychology Day!
On May 4, IUP will be throwing Psychology Day to celebrate research, careers, and professional issues in psychology! The day includes 5 research presentations for our lab:
Marlee McCadden, junior, will be defending her Honors Thesis: To catch a predator: Do physical stereotypes impact perceptions of sexual offending?
Krista Burket, senior, will be defending her Honors Thesis: Impact of the affirmative consent policy and alcohol on perceptions of sexual assault.
Victoria Hauth, a third-year Psy.D. student, will present a study she developed through archival data with John Jay College colleagues: Adverse childhood experiences and negative emotionality in adult sex offenders: Bridging the gap from childhood to adulthood.
Adrie Henry, a second-year Psy.D. student and lead researcher on our sexual assault perceptions project, will present the early findings from her first study: Campus sexual assault: An examination of alcohol use on victim blame and perceived culpability.
Anthony Perillo, director of the CliF Lab, will present some of his work with sexually abusive clergy: Beyond Spotlight: Assessing reoffending of sexually abusive priests.
